Vita short:
Sabine Mehne (Darmstadt), is an author and experienced public speaker. Before getting cancer in 1995, she worked as a physiotherapist and systemic family therapist. She has been an ambassador in the field of near-death experiences for 20 years and held numerous lectures and readings, often together with the Dutch cardiologist and near-death researcher Pim van Lommel, among others. Since 2019 she has been campaigning intensively for self-determined dying as she promotes a new form of 'Ars moriendi', a fear-free way of dealing with death and dying in the 21st century. Her vision is to support a socially relevant debate on these issues which is reflected in her many contributions on television, radio, films and on her podcast.
